Christopher Alcazar is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years of experience, including 17 years as an executive. He currently serves as the Group Chief Executive Officer at Acado Limited, part of the Agostini Group, where he leads a group of companies and a team of over 2,000 employees. A marketeer at heart, he focuses on sustainable market share and brand growth through strategic leadership, dynamism, and cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset throughout the business.

Prior to his role at Acado, Chris led Acado Foods (formerly Vemco) from 2016 to 2023, when the company won many accolades including the Supermarket Association’s Distributor of the year, along with Company of the Year on several occasions within the Agostini Group. 

With a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Tampa and certifications from the Harvard and Columbia Business Schools,  Chris continues to adapt to the evolving needs of the partners and markets he serves.  As a past  President of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association, he also remains an advocate for local and Caribbean manufacturers, economic growth, and nation-building.

Passionate about leadership development, Chris believes that an organisation’s workforce is the cornerstone of successful business.  Mentorship and collaboration, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and an ownership mindset are central to Chris’ leadership style.  Balancing his professional life with family commitments, he is a devoted husband and father of two.
