Vidia has served with the Acado Group for over 9 years as CEO & Director of Hanschell Inniss Limited. In August 2024, her role expanded to include CEO for Independence Agencies, Grenada. She is also a Director at Collins Limited and Carlilse Laboratories, two leading associated pharmaceutical companies in Barbados.

She has worked in progressively senior positions within the FMCG Industry, first in Trinidad and then in Jamaica. She holds a double major BSc in Chemistry & Management from the University of the West Indies. She is an alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management, Illinois, USA and IE Business School, Madrid, Spain.

Vidia’s breadth of commercial capability is wide. She has successfully designed and built some well-known regional brands from the ground up to multi-million dollar assets. She is especially proud and passionate about business turnaround and has led this process for at least 5 companies in her career to date.

Passion for innovation and people leadership have been the tenets of her success. Being resilient and relentless about winning fuels Vidia’s accomplishments.

Outside of her professional life, Vidia serves on the board of International Women’s Forum, Barbados Chapter, where she takes pride in supporting and working with women in leadership.  

Spending time with her loved ones is of paramount importance. She is also an avid lover of scuba diving, music and world travel.
