BRAND MANAGER- TOBACCO

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Manager to join our team in St. Lucia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing brand strategies, managing marketing campaigns, and driving brand growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for the tobacco industry.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement brands and trade programs that meet the objectives of the national trade promotional plan in the areas of brand, volume, merchandising, and sales.
  • Participate in the preparation and execution of promotions.
  • Provide a functional liaison between the company and its representatives/suppliers.
  • Prepare reports in a timely manner.
  • Oversee brand/sales plan execution within the local and external market.
  • Oversee, review, and monitor the operations of delivery service providers to customers in trade.
  • Support and provide guidance to the sales team.
  • Supervise proper account management for the wider trade

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Marketing.
  • At least two (2) to three (3) years of experience in sales and/or marketing or in a similar field will be an asset.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience at a managerial/supervisory level or a relevant combination of training and experience
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Proper planning strategies.
  • Sales experience and knowledge.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proven track record within the sales and marketing sector.
