BRAND MANAGER

The successful candidate will be responsible for aggressively increasing brand awareness and equity for all brands under the portfolio. The position includes developing effective and timely strategies with a view to increasing distribution, accurate budgeting and planning and monitoring marketing activities, gathering, and analyzing trade information, and conducting competitive analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities for this position will include but not be limited to:

  • To conceptualize, develop and execute marketing plans for all brands within the brand portfolio in a timely manner and within budget.
  • To develop and implement pricing strategy for all brands under portfolio; ensuring the message is communicated to both internal and external parties.
  • To conduct evaluation and make recommendations based on market research and trends.
  • To monitor competitive activities closely/continuously and proactively create strategies to counteract same.
  • To continuously seek and create new distribution channels for brands under the portfolio.

Reporting

  • To prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual brand performance reports. Monthly reports include Stock and sales reports, marketing reports, and competitors reports. Quarterly report includes brand review for previous quarterly and price survey.
  • To develop incentive programmes and reward schemes for sales and merchandising teams.
  • To provide sales forecast support for the optimal ordering of inventory.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB:

  1. Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or Business Management.
  2. At least two years of working experience in the same or equivalent capacity.
